Let’s start with talking about what Affiliate Marketing is. Affiliate Marketing is about promoting someone else’s products, and get a commission for every sale you make. This is probably the easiest and cheapest way to start an Internet Business, because you don’t have to create the products yourself, and you can promote them in various ways for free.
Some of the most popular places to get products to sell are Clickbank.com, PayDotCom, and Commission Junction but of course there are endless ways to get products to sell as an affiliate. It is easy to go to Google or some of the other search engines, and type in your keyword phrase + affiliate, like diet program + affiliate, and you will find companies looking for affiliates to sell their products.
How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Using Free Resources
If you don’t have any money to spend on starting your Internet Business, you can i.e. go to Squidoo.com and make a lens about your product, and/or Hubpages.com and make a hub there for the same reason. These resources are absolutely free, and the search engines love them. You can place classified ads for free, and USfreeads’ Free Classifieds, is a resource I have used for a long time with good results, as it is one of Google’s favorites. A smart thing to do is to make classified ads there, and link them to your Squidoo lenses and Hubpages for ultimate exposure.
Craigslist is also free, and Google loves it too. Of course you can also go to Google and search for free classifieds, or free classified ads, and you can find millions of sites there that match your search! Maybe you already have a Facebook or a MySpace site? Then why not promote your affiliate products there, as these sites get millions of visitors each day?
You can set up a free blog and make regular posts about the products you are promoting, and if you become an active participant in forums, you can leave a link in your signature to your promotions, so when people read your posts, they might click your link! Writing articles and submitting them to Article Directories such as EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com is also a great way to spread the word.
Now I have shown you a few ways how to make money with affiliate marketing for absolutely free. Of course there are endless ways to make money with affiliate marketing, so if you have time, just browse the search engines for more ways to do it.
The most important thing to do if you want to succeed in Affiliate Marketing, or in Internet Marketing in general, is to drive traffic to your online promotions, because if nobody finds you, obviously you won’t make any sales! That is why keyword research is extremely important before you start promoting anything.
