Dylan Loh makes a six-figure per month income marketing Clickbank affiliate products. Most of the products he sells are not targeted to the Internet marketing crowd.

Dylan was interviewed by Rob Toth as part of Dan Kennedy’s Info Riches course. Top information marketers were interviewed for a series called “Future Of Information Marketing”.

Dylan believes the market for selling Internet marketing products is becoming really crowded and it’s only going to become more competitive as more and more people discover that it is possible to make a lot of money online.

Dylan says that “the pie is definitely big enough” so more people can enter the market and be profitable. But, he says, “with three or four launches in the same week and sometimes in the same day it’s increasingly competitive”.

Dylan says “it’s relatively easier in non-Internet-marketing niches”. There are lots of good niche products to sell in Clickbank if you look real hard. “My philosophy is that I always get them (new clients) to start off in other niches then it’s easier to enter and get the feel of it”, says Dylan. Once they have some success in these niches they can always go back to the Internet marketing niche.

When people think of doing business on the Internet they start looking for information on the subject. They get on some lists and all they ever see is Internet marketing products being promoted. This is because they are being targeted for that niche. They are being sold Internet marketing products over and over again because they aer interested in that field.

A lot of people get stuck there. Sometimes they might venture out and try working on a different niche but the powerful marketing forces of Internet marketers pulls them back and focuses their attention back on the IM niche. “There are so many other niches that no one is paying attention to”, says Dylan.

It’s important for people to focus on one niche. Whether they become successful or not they need to stick with it until they have given it a fair chance. THEN they should move on to another niche. First, start off in a non-Internet-marketing niche. Get your feet wet. Get some experience. When you have achieved some success and gaind some experience you can go back to the Internet marketing niche.

Take action and focus. That’s the key. “Don’t over-analyze the situation.” You’ll be better off if you get a little understanding and just take action. You should take small steps until you know what to do. Then you can spend more time and money on things that have proven to work. Drop what doesn’t work. If you want to learn you have to get started first. “Don’t spend so much time trying to think of all the possible ways to be perfect”, says Dylan.
